"Buying promotional items with a clear conscience - is that even possible?"

Yes it is! And we work every day to make sure that more and more do. We are committed to the United Nations Global Compact principles, the world's most important and largest initiative for responsible corporate governance. This includes integrating respect for human rights, environmental protection, labor standards, and anti-corruption into all of our business activities. We also expect rigorous compliance with our Code of Conduct from our suppliers and service providers along the supply chain. Whenever possible, our agents on-site or we verify compliance with our requirements.

As early as our products' development stage, we take care to use recycled products or renewable raw materials wherever possible. We reduce packaging to the bare minimum and choose the transport routes with the lowest CO2 emissions.

"Anyone can say that!"

True. That is why we have decided to have our activities in the area of sustainability and corporate social responsibility put through their paces every year by the independent rating platform "EcoVadis." All our activities throughout the supply chain are scrutinized - with a focus on environmental protection, ethics, sustainable purchasing, as well as labor and human rights. We are proud to have been awarded "Gold Status" for the second year in a row. Out of more than 22,000 companies in Europe that EcoVadis regularly audit, Istac is among the top 1% in its category with 69 points.

"... but CO2 is still produced".

True. However, every day we try to reduce our resource consumption and CO2 emissions at all corners. We neutralize the CO2 emissions that we cannot avoid in cooperation with ClimatePartner, one of Austria's largest climate neutrality services providers. For this purpose, we have calculated our corporate carbon footprint along the entire supply chain, including our employees' travel routes. Because when it comes to our environment, we make no compromises!

"... and what do I get out of it?"

You can be sure that every item you buy from us does not cause more CO2 than absolutely necessary.  The packages are packed in an environmentally friendly way, and the working conditions during production are right. Whether it is the bee meadow on our company premises, the photovoltaic system on our roof, the recycled paper in our packages, or the CO2 -neutral delivery of our shipments: Our efforts are always noticeable for you, too!
